Mississippi falls to Kentucky, 85-75
The Mississippi Rebels put their best foot forward but still fell to the No. 3 Kentucky Wildcats, 85-75.
Terrico White led the Rebels with 19 points and seven rebounds.
The team was without freshman big man Reginald Buckner, who missed his second game with a sprained ankle.
Without Buckner in the low post, the Rebels really had no answer for the load that is DeMarcus Cousins.
Head coach Andy Kennedy said that they wanted to try and slow down Kentucky and limit the easy buckets, but just couldn’t do it.
