Mississippi falls to Auburn, 51-31
The Mississippi Rebels tried to keep it close but fell well short in a 51-31 loss to the No. 1 Auburn Tigers.
The Rebels actually did a pretty good job of controlling quarterback Cameron Newton in the pocket and not letting him run loose.
The only problem is they forgot about stopping the team’s actual running back, Michael Dwyer, who rushed for 181 yards.
Mississippi was hoping they would get a big game out of quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, who is no stranger to the big stage. (Read More…)
